We print for Telugu and English authors, Koti and Abids book markets, Hyderabad Book Fair exhibitors, Ameerpet courseware, Dilsukhnagar and Kukatpally coaching and intermediate colleges

Hyderabad has a book trade with deep roots and a training industry that never stops printing. The Koti book market and the Sunday pavement sellers of Abids have supplied readers for generations, the Hyderabad Book Fair draws Telugu and English publishers from across the two states, and Ameerpet, India's best-known IT training district, hands every batch a printed set of courseware. Intermediate colleges and coaching centres in Dilsukhnagar, Kukatpally and Madhapur add study books and test series in very large quantities, so book printing and binding in Hyderabad spans poetry chapbooks, Telugu novels, software manuals and ten-thousand-page coaching runs.

Questions from Hyderabad

Book printing & binding in Hyderabad: FAQ

How much does it cost to print a book in Hyderabad?+
There is no flat rate. The price per copy depends on page count, trim size, black & white or colour pages, paper, binding and quantity, and it falls as the quantity rises: a 200-page A5 black & white paperback costs far less per copy at 200 copies than at 20. Send the PDF, page count and quantity on WhatsApp and you will get an exact quote, usually the same day, with courier to Hyderabad included.
Can I print just one copy of my book?+
Yes. There is no minimum quantity. Authors often print a single proof copy first, students print one bound copy of a project or thesis, and you can reorder any number later because we keep your file on record.
What is the minimum quantity for bulk book printing?+
None is fixed. Per-copy pricing improves at roughly 50, 100 and 500 copies, so share the full run size when you ask for a quote. Institutes and coaching centres can split a run into batches by subject or class and we pack the cartons accordingly.
How long do book printing and delivery to Hyderabad take?+
Printing and binding usually take 2 to 5 working days after you approve the proof, depending on quantity and binding. Courier from Lucknow to Hyderabad then takes about 3-5 working days. For a launch or a new batch, send files about two weeks ahead; express courier is available when the date is closer.
Which binding should I choose: paperback, hardcover or spiral?+
Paperback (perfect binding) for books you will sell or distribute, with a laminated cover and printed spine. Hardcover (case binding) for theses, premium editions and books meant to last for years. Spiral or wiro for notes, workbooks and manuals that must lie flat on a desk.
What is perfect binding?+
Perfect binding is the standard paperback binding: the pages are glued into a square printed spine inside a laminated card cover, so the book looks like one from a bookshop. It suits roughly 40 to 500 pages and is the usual choice for novels, poetry, textbooks, study books and self-published titles.
What is the difference between hardcover and paperback printing?+
A hardcover (case-bound) book has rigid boards covered in cloth or a printed wrap, with lettering on the spine; it costs more, weighs more and lasts for decades, which is why theses, premium editions and commemorative volumes use it. A paperback has a flexible laminated cover, is lighter and cheaper, and is the standard for books sold or distributed in numbers.
Which paper is used for book printing?+
Inside pages are usually printed on 70 to 80 gsm paper for black & white text, or 100 to 130 gsm art paper for colour pages and photographs. Covers are 250 to 300 gsm art card with gloss or matt lamination. Tell us how the book will be used and we will recommend the paper.
What is the standard book size in India?+
A5 (148 x 210 mm) is the most common size for novels, poetry and study books, and A4 for textbooks, manuals and lab records. Self-published authors also use 5.5 x 8.5 inch and 6 x 9 inch, the sizes used by online print-on-demand platforms. We print custom trim sizes as well.
How do I get an ISBN for my book in India?+
ISBNs in India are issued free of charge by the Raja Rammohun Roy National Agency under the Ministry of Education, through its online portal. Register as an author or publisher, apply for the title, and the number usually arrives within a few weeks. We print the ISBN barcode on the back cover exactly as you supply it; we do not issue ISBNs ourselves.
Do I need an ISBN to print my book?+
No. An ISBN is only needed if you plan to sell the book through bookshops, distributors or online marketplaces. Books printed for family, friends, students, an institute or a company do not need one, and we print them without any ISBN.
What file format do you need for book printing?+
A print-ready PDF with fonts embedded is best: one PDF for the inside pages at the final trim size and one for the cover with 3 mm bleed, with images at 300 dpi. If you only have a Word file, send it and we will convert it and show you a proof before anything is printed.
Can you print the cover I designed, with the spine text and barcode?+
Yes. We print your cover exactly as supplied, including the back-cover blurb, ISBN barcode and spine text. Tell us the page count and paper and we will calculate the exact spine width and give you the full cover dimensions before you finalise the design.
Will I get a proof before the full run is printed?+
Yes. Every order gets a digital proof, and for larger runs we can print and courier one physical sample copy to Hyderabad before the batch. Nothing is printed in quantity until you approve.
Do you print books in Hindi and regional languages?+
Yes. We print from your PDF exactly as supplied, so Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese and any other script is reproduced faithfully as long as the fonts are embedded in the file.
Can you print colour pages inside the book?+
Yes. Books can be printed fully in colour, fully in black & white, or with colour sections (for example diagrams, photographs or maps) and black & white text elsewhere, which keeps the cost down. Colour pages are printed on heavier art paper.
Do you print study material and test series for coaching institutes in Hyderabad?+
Yes. Coaching modules, question banks, practice sheets, test booklets and solution books are printed in batch quantities, perfect or spiral bound, packed in sealed cartons sorted by batch and subject, and invoiced with GST. Repeat batches match the first one exactly because we keep your files on record.
Can you print and bind my thesis or dissertation and courier it to Hyderabad?+
Yes. Theses and dissertations are printed to your university format and hard bound with gold or silver lettering on the spine and cover, or spiral bound for draft and review copies. Tell us how many copies the department needs and we will courier them to Hyderabad by the submission date.
How are the books packed and shipped to Hyderabad?+
Books are packed in sealed, moisture-wrapped cartons, sorted by title or batch for bulk orders, and shipped by tracked courier; you receive the tracking number on dispatch. If a carton arrives damaged, send photos on WhatsApp straight away and we will sort it out.
Do you provide a GST invoice, and how do I pay?+
Every order carries a GST invoice from our GST-registered business in Lucknow, with your Hyderabad delivery address on it, so publishers, institutes and companies can claim input credit. We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash at the counter, and confirm the payment schedule with the quote.
